AboutDFIR Content Update 11/27/2019

Greetings! There’s been some new additions to the site that I am excited to share and expand upon as time goes on. Without further ado:

  • Preservation Letter/Search Warrant Templates – This is a new section on the site that I look to flesh out quite a bit as time goes on and needs arise. If anyone has any preservation letter/search warrant language they need, please let us know! Alternatively, if there’s some language that has worked well for you, please submit it using this form! This website is a community effort and together we can create the best resources for everyone to benefit from. Together with Search.org’s ISP List, this site can be part of a 1-2 punch in speeding up digital investigations for Law Enforcement. As of right now, Discord and Facebook are the only templates present but this will expand in due time
  • DVR/Multimedia – This page has been added under the Tools & Artifacts section of the site. There are limited tools in this rabbit holes of digital forensics but they need to be highlighted as they are highly regarded among their users
  • Home Page – The recent page additions have been properly alphabetized within the menus

As always, I have many ideas floating in my head and this is just the beginning. I can’t wait to see where we’ll be a year from now. If you have feedback one way or another on some of the site’s recent changes/additions, I’d love to hear about it! You can reach me via the usual methods: Digital Forensics Discord Server or Twitter

Happy Holidays,

Andrew
