- Tools & Artifacts – Android – new entries added
- Men of #DFIR – various entries updated
As stated previously, updates will be sparse this month due to the Magnet Virtual Summit 2020 taking place currently that has been keeping me busy most days of the week. However, look for some larger-scale changes to come during the summer. There’s only so much time in the day! However, there’s plenty of other things going on right now.
Speaking of the Magnet Virtual Summit 2020, the third week of the Summit was a great success on the Digital Forensics Discord Server! Tons of engagement and great conversation from new and current members alike as well as the presenters themselves answering questions after their presentations. Thank you again to Magnet Forensics for partnering with the Digital Forensics Discord Server to bring a real-time chat element to this awesome DFIR event! For those interested in taking part in the discussions, read my blog post here. We’ve gained approximately 925 new members since the Summit began!
There are a couple of KAPE training sessions coming up. If you’re interested, check it out here! Additionally, here’s a FREE webinar put on by Mari DeGrazia about KAPE. Register here!
The Forensic 4:cast Awards‘ nomination period has concluded and voting is open! Cast your final vote here. Feel free to show AboutDFIR some love in the poll booth if you feel this resource has been helpful to you.
One last thing, a random reminder that the AboutDFIR RSS Starter Pack exists and is an awesome way to start following the most relevant blogs and feeds within the DFIR universe.
If there’s something you think should be on the website, let us know on our new feedback form! Per usual, you can reach me via the following methods: Digital Forensics Discord Server, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
Cheers,
Andrew
