Cassie Doemel

…is a current contributor to the DFIR Definitive Compendium Project as of 2021 and is currently a Vice President @ Kroll and part-time sworn examiner with a rural Wisconsin law enforcement agency. In her down-time, Cassie moderates multiple communities online and operates an online peer support group for active duty law enforcement. She also authored research on the SRUM database table “App Timeline Provider” and the OSINT Opt-Out Guide for removing personally identifiable information from data aggregators on the internet and co-authored A Conversation about Transitioning to Incident Response. Cassie also attends a number of virtual summits and aggregates the data shared on Start.me link boards. They’re available here (if that’s not working, try here). Cassie earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, as well as, a Master of Science in Digital Forensic Science from Champlain College.
